Do you handle customs clearance?

We manage your customs clearance with allied licensed customs brokers: depending on the port of entry and the goods, we work with the one who knows your operation best. We review documents, tariff classification and value, and follow the customs entry (pedimento) through to closing.

By law, clearance on behalf of someone else must be filed by a licensed customs broker, or agente aduanal (Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera), art. 159). You deal with one team throughout the whole process.

My goods are held up. Can you help?

Yes. Tell us what is happening, where the goods are and whether you have been served a seizure notice (acta). We review your case and tell you what is going on and what the next step is.

If there is already an acta, don't put it off: you have 10 business days to submit evidence and arguments (Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera), art. 153).

Review my operation
How do I request a quote or a review?

Fill out our two-step review form, or message us on WhatsApp at 55 3905 3993 or by email at contacto@mexpyme.com.mx. We review your operation and get back to you to prepare a proposal.

Can I find out what stage my shipment is at?

Yes. We report the status at every stage and let you know if the route changes or there is a delay. You have a direct contact who knows your operation, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Mexico City time).

I want to import for the first time. Where do I start?

By defining exactly what you are going to import. With a description of your goods we review the tariff classification (fracción arancelaria), the duties, the NOM standards or permits that apply and whether you need to join the importer registry (Padrón de Importadores). With that, we work out the total landed cost and the route with you before you buy.

Which countries do you work with?

We manage imports and exports to and from many countries, and we coordinate freight, customs and compliance.

If you import from a country without a trade agreement with Mexico, such as China, India or Korea, check the tariff before you buy: since January 2026 about 1,463 tariff lines carry duties of 5 to 50 % (Official Gazette, DOF, December 29, 2025). The exact duty depends on the tariff line and the origin.

How well protected are my goods?

We coordinate handling and packing according to the type of goods, and we help you take out cargo insurance with allied insurers, with the right coverage for your route. If there is a claim, we support you through the process.

How long does an operation take?

It depends on the type of goods, the route, the origin or destination and the authorities' inspection. When we review your case we give you a clear time estimate for your operation.

Can I change or cancel an operation that is already underway?

In many cases, yes. We check what stage it is at and the terms with suppliers and carriers, and we propose the best available alternative.

Let's connect your operation with the world.

Tell us what you need to move or what got stuck. We review your case and tell you what the next step is.
